Our Origin: Our journey began with a heartfelt vision, sparked by the experiences of our founder Silverio Menete, a native of Maputo. With each return home to visit family, he witnessed the challenges faced by countless impoverished children—bright-eyed souls in need of hope and opportunity. Fueled by a passion for his community and a desire to make a lasting difference, Alliance Global Outreach was born.
Our Mission
At the heart of our mission is a dedication to serving Jesus Christ and sharing His love with those who need it most. We believe that through compassionate outreach, we can be a beacon of hope, providing not just for physical needs but also nurturing the spiritual well-being of the children we serve.
Our Vision
Our vision extends beyond immediate relief to sustainable transformation. We envision a Maputo where every child has the opportunity to break free from the cycle of poverty, armed with education, love, and faith. Through our collective efforts, we strive to create lasting change in the lives of the children we serve, empowering them to become future leaders and change-makers.
The Need for Change: Recognizing the vulnerable state of these children, we observed the necessity for a safe haven—a place where they could find refuge from the challenges of the streets. Inspired by this vision, we set out to establish an after-school program, an oasis of learning and love designed to keep children off the streets and offer them a path to a brighter future.
Our Programs: At Alliance Global Outreach, we are committed to providing more than just shelter; we are building a community where every child is valued and empowered. Through our after-school program, we offer a haven for learning, mentorship, and spiritual growth. We provide healthy meals, educational resources, and, most importantly, a nurturing environment where the gospel of Jesus Christ is shared, fostering a sense of purpose and hope.
